Ingredients and benefits
-
Organic Yellow Beeswax derived from the honeycomb of bees (Apis mellifera) creates a breathable, non-occlusive layer over the skin. Rich in vitamin A and natural anti-inflammatory compounds, beeswax promotes the healing of minor cuts, abrasions and treats rough skin. It supports skin regeneration and soothes irritation.
-
Organic Apricot Kernel Oil is lightweight and fast-absorbing, obtained by cold pressing of apricot kernels (Prunus Armeniaca). It’s rich in oleic acid (omega-9) and linoleic acid (omega-6), which are excellent emollients. These fatty acids help soften dry or cracked skin, and restore the skin’s natural barrier without a greasy residue. The oil’s high antioxidant content (vitamin E and phytosterols) help to reduce inflammation.
-
Grape Seed Oil extracted from the cold-pressed seeds of Vitis vinifera is a lightweight, nutrient-rich oil that provides many benefits. It’s high in antioxidants, fatty acids (including omega-6) and vitamins E and C. A rich source of proanthocyanidins (a class of polyphenols) it helps to protect skin from damage caused by UV, pollution, or free radicals. It promotes collagen production and skin cell turnover due to its vitamin C and E content. Regular use can enhance skin elasticity and firmness.
-
Wheatgerm Oil extracted from the germ of the wheat kernel (Triticum vulgare), is a nutrient-dense oil rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids, offering several therapeutic benefits when applied topically. It’s highly emollient due to its rich content of essential fatty acids. Packed with vitamin E (one of the highest natural sources), wheat germ oil neutralizes free radicals. High levels of vitamins A and D support skin cell repair and regeneration, while aiding in skin elasticity and reducing dryness.
-
Carrot Seed Oil extracted from the cold-pressed seeds of Daucus carota (wild carrot), is a potent essential oil known for its skin-rejuvenating and protective properties. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and unique compounds, it offers several therapeutic benefits. High in carotenoids, particularly beta-carotene, and other antioxidants that protect the skin from free radical damage. The oil promotes cell regeneration due to its vitamin A precursors and other bioactive compounds. It also has natural antimicrobial effects, which help protect the skin from infections, particularly small cuts and cracks typical in climbing.
-
Natural Vitamin E is a pure form of vitamin E oil (d-alpha-tocopherol) that enhances the antioxidant, moisturizing, and reparative properties of our plant oil formulation. Its benefits stem from a high concentration of tocopherols and tocotrienols. Together with the oils and beeswax, it complements their nourishing and protective effects to create a comprehensive treatment for dry, damaged skin. Regular application of natural vitamin E oil has been shown to help fade scars and enhance elasticity of scar tissue.
-
Forest Essential Oil Blend combines steam-distilled oils from Pine needle (Pinus sylvestris), Cedarwood atlas (Cedrus atlantica), Juniper berry (Juniperus communis), Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), and Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha), offering a range of therapeutic benefits. These oils are rich in terpenes, resinous compounds, and grounding aromas, making them ideal for skin care when combined with carrier oils. Moreover, the blend’s antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties (especially from frankincense and myrrh) help soothe the skin, protecting against bacterial infections and supporting the healing of minor cuts or skin irritations.
